These are super easy to make no matter if you have an air fryer, or a microwave. Admittedly, I think it would be better if I had an air fryer, but I do not. They still make for a really nice snack and rather than bonito flakes, I use shredded seaweed flakes.

I love these Takoyaki! I think the size of the octopus is pretty decent.

Takoyaki. It’s great because it’s easy to prepare at home as an appetizer. However, since I used an air fryer, I had to cook it longer than the recipe provided here. (I set it to 340°F for 12 minutes and added another 3-4 minutes.) I’m satisfied because there’s a decent amount of octopus to chew on. It looks fantastic when served with mayonnaise, tonkatsu sauce, bonito flakes, green onions, etc. on top.
